Yes, it is. What I meant was, if you see any regional/ethnic clothing, it is likely to be southwestern in nature. What I saw mostly was typical American clothing, what you would see in any city or town in the US.
I really don't think the kilt would be a big deal there. In all honesty, I haven't been anyplace in the US where the kilt was a big deal.
