    Strathspey District Tartan

Just out of the box from Tartan Kilts (House of Edgar). My new Strathspey district tartan casual wool kilt. I ordered it on the 4th of July and its here on the 25th! I'm also wearing a pair of "modern gillies" well... really more like hiking shoes with holes. What do you think?

Thumbs up What a picture of contentment!

Boy are the Keens great shoes. The kilt is wonderful too.
You'll need them both at the highland games if it's warm.

    Phil,

Nice looking kilt (though a bit bright for my tastes). BTW, this is the first and only time I've ever seen a polo shirt look good with a kilt (sorry, Ham). I just don't like them but you're so color-coordinated it's scary. Great look, even with the sneakers.

Splendid kilt, great tartan and the shirt matches nicely. Excellent addition to the arsenal, Phil.

interesting that its somewhat similar to the Black Watch, which is assosiated as the Clan Grant hunting tartan (because of the many Grants that served early in the Regiment). Strathspey lies smack in the middle of Grant lands. Connection maybe?
