I have been looking for there music in stores for months and finally found two CD's at Borders. Casualties of Retail is great! Saw the show last night. Absolutely incredible. One of the most entertaining bands out there. Know how to work a crowd. They said they will be playing the Green Lane festival and the Celtic Classic at Bethlehem as well as the Celtic Fling next year. And, as you have found out, they just recently got mass distribution of their two most recent cd's.

They were selling copies of the live cd and dvd at the table. Don't they sell the live cd off their web site? I haven't heard it but I generally don't care for live cd's due to poor sound quality. They didn't have any copies of Aerials or Let the Wind Blow High for sale. They definitely seemed to be trying to distance themselves from these two albums. Only the piper was wearing a kilt. I don't know tartans at all yet but it was gray and kind of a purplish-red.

We've seen them a few times at Lake Eden Arts Festival in Black Mt, NC and in Asheville. We've also been fortunate to join them on their tour of Ireland in March 2005 and Scotland in March of this year. They're a great group of guys as well as EXTREMELY talented musicans. Their version of "Donald Where's Yer Troosers" was great in Glasgow! We're planning to travel up to Pa to see them at Green Lane since that's the closest to us they'll be for awhile. We enjoy all their CDs but probably Casualties of Retail has the most mix of styles as well as some great traditional tunes.
