Unless you're bigger than 60" or smaller than 30" you can still get one.

I orderd a size 30 3 weeks ago and was informed via e-mail that the size 32 was the smallest they now sold and that I should call to see if any were still any 30's in stock. They didn't have any unfortunatly.

Didn't they offer to pay for the kilt to be shipped back and put a snap on and send it back? Why should you do the legwork for their mistake?
Just thought that 1 thing odd... that's all.
Bottom line: You probably (don't know if you will or not) won't use the modesty snap all that often, so it won't matter that much anyway.
Utilikilts are in the process of moving out of thier building into a different facility. I've been told that they are not taking new orders (they will usually ship in stock items though) and they probably feel that it would take them a very loooong time to service this mistake.
Unless you use your workmens on scaffolding or do roof work, you will probably never use this feature. Trust me I've only had one occasion to do so and I do facility maintenance ( ie. crawling up under and inside of buildings all day)

Haha! yea, I was just waking up from my nap when I logged on. It's tailor.
By the way, I asked the guy what we could do other than send the kilt back to Seattle. I don't think this is a big deal as I'll most likely never use this feature but would like to have them.....I guess.
My mother is a fine seamstress, (She made my first kilt as a wee lad) but the man at utilikilt said ya need a snap button machine so this is something that can't be done at home I think. Anyway, no big deal but I do like to see how customer service handles problems so as to let me know if I'll do more business in the future. So far I happy. I mowed my yard today in my new kilt and the grass seemed alittle bit greener.

You can purchase the snap buttons at Wal Mart or any fabric store. All it takes to put them on is a pair of pliers.
