    I agree with Colin and Heathbar. I especially like the Cameron of Erracht colors for formal wear.

    and I like the colours of the Hunting Stewart next to Grey tweed in the day time. Blackwatch I have found is just too dark for evening events, but the Cameron is awesome.

    My thoughts were that the Hunting Stewart kilt was the lightest kilt he had and would be better durring the hot part of the day.
    As for the the evening wear, Blackwatch isn't very exciting in my opinion and also very dark. The Cameron just has more color. That's me stating the obvious.

    From one PhD to another, congrats on finishing your dissertation and graduating. You may actually have a mildly normal life now. I don't much advice other than be yourself and be comfortable. Cheers!
