It is about time to start planning something for the Stone Montain HG's. There was a pretty good turn out of X-markers last year from what I read.
Where in Atlanta are you Turpin?

I live in Roswell. And I almost just copied your avatar, but caught it in the nick. A co-worker had the entire Chick-Fil-A 06 calendar, and Boldhoof just spoke to me. Maybe I'll look for Angus Kahn. He was Scottish, right?
I actually found the Boldhoof picture online in a women's blog about kilted men! Now if i could just find out where they hang....
BTW what do you charge for your sporran straps?

Where 4 Scotsmen gather there'll usually be a fifth.

Whatever it is, it's worth it. I have two of Cavscout's straps (a brown and a black) and they are extremely well made and are very easy to use because of the type of clasps he uses. The quality really stands out.
What they look like in use.

Got the Irish Saffron today, nice kilt. It's much tougher than the standard BW from them, but not quite as comfy on these dog-days of summer as the Standard BW.

I agree (as best I can based on the pictures in his gallery). BTW, that's a beautiful sporran in your pic. Where did you get that?

Just to put a fine point on it, we agree that Cavscout's hand made sporran belts are the finest available.
I make all major kilt related purchases from a local Scottish goods retailer. We are quite fortunate that southern California has attracted several responsible and reputable celtic goods retailers.
I found the pictured sporran while browsing the shelves at Scottish Treasures just a short ferry ride across the bay in Coronado.
