3 Xmarkers meet at Tilted Kilt
Retro Red, PBPersson and O'Neille met at the tilted kilt last Thursday night. 3 kilties enjoyed a few hours of good food, talk, and drink. It was a welcome respite from the prospect of watching TV in a hotel room.
Camera Phone sorry for the quality. Retro Red and PBpersson, not to mentions the lovely ladies

All three of us and an extra lady Caradoc should have joined us.

Looking forward to the next phoenix trip now. O'Neille

Very cool,
Phoenix has kilted rable...
Did the ladies say "welcome home" when you arrived kilted? They did that to me last week at the Tilted Kilt in Las Vegas and I wondered if it was just her individual way of being friendly or if it was a corporate policy....

Umm.....no.....
Retro Red and I got there first and the one lady came over and started asking questions, wondering why we were wearing kilts. RR said he ALWAYS does and it's part of his heritage, I said I can't at work but I do otherwise because they are just so comfortable and she looked like we had given her some things to think about......
I thought that the Tilted Kilt would be where all the kilted guys throughout Phoenix congregated to have a good time.....but maybe there aren't that many kilted guys in Phoenix????
Otherwise this lady is seeing an increase in kilted guys and wondering what is happening. I didn't think to ask how many kilted guys they see there and I don't know if Retro Red or O'Neille did.

Don't know when was the last time you were at the Tilted Kilt, Kiltedfirepiper, but unfortunately they don't seem to give the discount anymore for wearing your kilt there.
I was at the new Scottsdale Tilted Kilt today for lunch & asked about the discount & was told there wasn't one. We didn't get any discount last week either for the 3 of us at the Tempe TK. However, I did get several compliments today from the lovely lasses for my Scottish American tartan kilt - not as good as a 10% discount, but appreciated nonetheless.

The food was good. Maybe the next time I'm up we'll all get together. O'Neille
