true...but I figured the knots would be far more artistic than a name...and it represents not just my son, but my family and herritage all at the same time!!!

Some of us have both and don't think it is silly http://www.flickr.com/photos/clanwood/140871066/

I like the red on the outside. How big did they make the father knot? My tattooist was saying that they would make millions is they could duplicate the brownish/pinkish hue a fresh tattoo takes on, as it is such a vibrant shade. I agree. The tattoo looks great.

Very nice tattoo! The shading is excellent. It's got me thinking . . . no, Anna would kill me!

that is a sweet looking tat!

hmm...I'll have to see if my tattooist can do Quinn in the old wood-cut style..like you see in really old books..could be cool..

the design itself came from luckyfishart.com. I bought the design and took it in. Anyone getting celtic knots shoudl check that site out. They send you HUGE images to work with, a few outlines, colored in..prolly 7 pics in all.

That's why I recommend her and the father knot in the other thread
I am glad to hear the transaction worked well. I may add some of her stuff one day soon. Not a bad deal for what you get it sounds like. I have been a fan of her work for a long time now.
