Highlander: To sum up the casting

    A Frenchman* plays the Scot
    An American plays the Russian
The Scot plays an Egyptian (masquerading as a Spainard)

    My head hurts!

    Cheers

    * yes I know he was born in America, but for all pratical purposes he's French

He even had to LEARN English for either Highlander or Graystoke, otherwise he couln't even say his lines. His Scot accent was BAD, which adds to the later character (when he used the name Russel Nash), but is very odd and distracting to me when he is supposed to be a kid in Scotland during his first battle, especially when hearing the REAL Scots around him.
