    Scotland trip 2006: What to pack?

    Okay oh wise folks.
    What might I not realize to pack for a trip to Scotland say August 18 to August 27th?
    And my lovely wife?
    And no I'm not caryying her backpack.

    Kilts of course!
    Good waterproof coat
    Camera with lots of film/SD card
    anti-midgie spray (herbal)
    vacuum flask to carry your own tea or coffee (save a small fortune)

    You might want to check any voltage issues with any electrical appliances (charger, shaver, hairdrier etc) you might be taking - I think it's a bit different. You can get an adapter when you arrive.

    And never introduce yourself as "Hi, I'm Randy!" while in the UK.

    Don't forget to pack a real good sense of humor to use when you exchange USD for GBP. As of today, $1 is worth about 52p.
