A while back, I had considered a Utilikilt Mocker, but after taking a closer look, discovered that for a few dollars more I could have a custom R-kilt in hemp. It will be in a neo-traditional style - no pockets / full apron - but pleated in the R-kilt style. Brown leather and brass hardware.
A no brainer imho.
Yah, I jones right along with the rest of ya..... I just don't talk about it much.

I'm not waiting on anything AT THE MOMENT. I'm trying to decide whether to get a USAK casual or semi-trad. Decisions, decisions.

I'm currently waiting on my second work kilt- a black canvas Buzz Kidder. Tried ordering it directly from the website, only to be told I was outside of their delivery area  What's up with that? The pull down menu for delivery listed the whole freakin' world. Anyway, I found I could order it from the Scottish Tartans Museum, but they were out of stock in my size. So it is being made in Texas (I assume) then shipped to North Carolina and then to me up here in the temporarily unfrozen north. Fortunately I was able to score a scratch 'n dent UK Workmans on eBay for half the retail price- so I have been working kilted for the past week and loving it. When the BK arrives I'll post a UK versus BK comparison.
I've kilt for less.

I am currently waiting on my FreedomKilt, dress model. The jonesing on this one has been almost painful, because I'm so psyched about it. Only a couple of more days, though, since I received an email from Bobby telling my it's on its way. Soooooooo excited.

I guess you're expecting me to contribute to this thread, so here goes:
Having just received No.65 (the Cornish National tartan from Cornovi), I am now waiting for three more -
1. The Snakeskin leather 6 yarder from TFCK. The office called yesterday to tell me it was being despatched in the afternoon, but the Postman has already been today so I guess I'll have it tomorrow morning - watch out for the photos!
2. The Northumberland (or Shepherd) tartan 8yd 16oz from Geoffrey (Tailor). That's due in the second week of September.
3. A Freedom Kilt, Dress model in navy blue. Steve tells me that he's off to the East Coast of the USA soon, and will be back at the end of August, so I'll probably receive this one late September/early October - hope it's before 6th October when I set off for California!
When I see Howie (TFCK) in September, I'll most likely be giving him my order for another tweed Argyll jacket, my 5th.
