It's different all right. It will make a great conversation piece.

I would wear it proudly since your daughter picked it out.

Maybe start a tradition of her getting you kilt pins for Father's day after many years your can change it slightly and have her get you kilts to match the pins

I'm kind of torn on this one. On the one hand, it's a cool piece, but might look better with goat horns instead of spikes. It is different though. Maybe too different for me.

I think it is interesting and different. My daughter (age 13) thinks it's COOOOL.

Well, I like it and would wear it. I think it would look great with a traditional, making it look a little less cookie cutter and a little more personalized, especially with your daughter being involved. Plus I think it might make a couple of guys think twice before before calling it a skirt.

Then again I am still in my 20s so maybe that has something to do with it.

I'm not so sure this would suit a traditional kilt but it would look really good on an all black non-trad goth kilt.

    Thumbs up

She's a genius, tell her full marks from me. I'm a fan of the juxstaposition of trad and now, and that could be all you need in a trad casual outfit to really mess with it, in the best possible way.
A pair of 12 hole Doc's would well on the way to pushing it just a bit harder.

I'm actually a fan of more traditional things when it comes to kilts. BUT, your daughter bought it for you, so wear it PROUDLY!

    Looks sharp!
(Even tho' you said it wasn't...)

I'd definitely wear that, especially on my black UK.

Thanks for the input-my daughter is really happy about the reviews.

    I looks like it's a keeper!
