    She's a genius, tell her full marks from me. I'm a fan of the juxstaposition of trad and now, and that could be all you need in a trad casual outfit to really mess with it, in the best possible way.
    A pair of 12 hole Doc's would well on the way to pushing it just a bit harder. :rolleyes:

    I'm actually a fan of more traditional things when it comes to kilts. BUT, your daughter bought it for you, so wear it PROUDLY!

    my piper buddy has a skull with crossed sabers on his balmoral...looks good!

    Here! Here! I totally agree with Oz. Mixing trad and now is definately the way to go. That's a killer kilt pin! Your daughter have any other altenative pins she can recommend??
