    Bachelor Party

Well, I've been invited to a bachelor party for a friend of mine, and it happens to be at a gentelman's club. The guy organizing the party works as the DJ at the club, so he has the inside track there. I fully intend to go kilted, so I'll get to see if the "man in the kilt" gets more attention than the groom.

Needless to say, there probably won't be too many pictures as cameras are frowned upon at such establishments. Then again, since the DJ is throwing the party, maybe an exception will be made. Don't worry, I'll keep them all PG rated.

Having been to such an establishment kilted, I can promise that, unless the groom himself is kilt, you will get more attention than most every other gent in the place.

one word of caution...watch for roaming hands, and keep your sporran shut tight.

    BAD IDEA

Rules you should follow at such establishments:
    1. Don't ever wear a belt
    2. Wear boxers not briefs
    3. Don't wear a kilt (especially regimental)

Don't ask how I know this...

Remember rule #3 from the Man Code (google it) which states:

    3. Any man who brings a camera to a bachelor party may be legally killed and eaten by his fellow partygoers.

    Have a good time.

....and the camera may get stomped a bit, too. (at least it did at the last party I went to....)

dont ask how I know these tips  but if you do go kilted, and DO go reg.

1: make sure you put your belt through the belt loops...that way you can unbuckle it and not lose it, also you can slide your sporan to one side and it wont be in the way
2: if you do go reg. LET THE DANCER KNOW BEFORE THE DANCE!!!!!
it could be a good thing to let them know before, course it can be a bad thing if they find out on their own......bad = 86'ed

3: use the old "are your hands cold ?" line if she asks about whats underneath.......you'd be suprised how many of them will blush at that! I NEVER get tired of it
4: have fun and make sure the groom gets alot of attention!! when the girls come to you enjoy their company , but then direct them to the groom and say somthing to the effect that you want HIM to have a real good time because if HE'S having a good time then you would feel so guilty about enjoying the dancers company..........I've been friends with a few strippers in my day( my day meaning before i was married ) if you make it about having fun , and not about whats behind the g-string then they will be more relaxed and end up having fun too !!!
    good luck and GO KILTED!!!!!
Irish diplomacy: is telling a man to go to he)) in such a way that he looks forward to the trip!

Don't worry I know a lot of these tips too. I've been to the clubs before, even this one, but I haven't gone kilted. Well, that's not entirely true, I did go once, but the only dance I got was from someone I have known a while. I've just never been involved with a bachelor party at one.

In my day, I've been friends with a few dancers myself. I have even dated one, but that's another story.
