Well, I'm waiting to finish up a few more glass pieces before driving up and seeing Rocky to pick up 2 fly plaids and a Weathered MacKay that's already completed.
And Rocky will be making my XMarks tartan too. Oh, and both are premiers.

I just ordered my first kilt (from Rocky), so I'm looking at six weeks at least. Thanks to all the great suggestions and pics here I decided on a casual Ireland's National kilt, plus a sporran, belt, buckle, flashes, hose, and kilt pin.
My raise came in too late. I was hoping I was going to be able to buy my kilt a little while ago so I would have one for the "Kilt's Up!" calendar. My local Celtic society put this together every year as a fundraiser for our scholarship fund. It's a big seller, let me tell you. Our president has been after me to volunteer for one of the months and I finally relented when she promised me I could have October. So, this year I'll have to have my picture taken in a borrowed kilt, but that's fine. It's all for a good cause (if a little embarrassing).
