So, do you use super secret search criteria, or just power past all the cheapos I see every time I check out ebay? What a treasure!

Yes, top secret search criteria. So I'll spill the beans to a few lucky people now. Look in odd places and with odd names. Just because someone is selling a skirt doesn't mean it not a kilt. Anyone who knows what they have will list it where it gets the most traffic and final price. Usually people that don't know what they are selling: 1. Don't put it in the correct category or 2. Don't spell correctly. 3. Don't post good pictures. I also will take a chance that it will turn out to be a treasure. You have to kiss a few toads to find a princess. Besides that, if it doesn't turn out good, resell it. Just put it in the correct category with an excellent description and pictures and be fair on shipping and you will most certainly come out ahead. For anyone that is a bargain hunter please remember that we can help each other out when we find such items that may not be our sizes or to our taste. Just post a shopping shout out and be mindful not to bid against your friends. O'Neille

There's another source for kilts that's even more secret- Estate Sales. I've found the majority of my kilts at them. I've found kilts by most of the major kiltmakers for less than $100 U.S. Keep your eyes open, you never know what you'll find.

Cool tips O'Neille. Skotland forever!
Another tip: Be patient and pay what YOU want to pay. It works.
If you're reading Dr O'Neille, may I use your graduation daywear pic as an example in my (hopefully soon forthcoming) German article on daywear [with credits, of course]? Seldom seen someone who carries it off so well.

You may, I went to your site while I was at work today. It's tough when you don't speak the language. If those shots are O.K. then go ahead. I'd appreciate a link when it's up. I'll see if it translates so I can really read what you say about it. PM me if you need any details. O'Neille
