Thanks for the welcome. SWK tells me they'll have the Nightstalker in my size in about a month or so. It seems to be a foregone conclusion, based on what I've read here, that kilts are like potato chips (crisps, for those of you across the pond)- no one stops at one.
So, perhaps, I'll get myself a Black Watch Economy from SWK to hold me over until the Nightstalkers are in stock. The Nightstalker does seem like it would be easier to color coordinate a shirt with, than the black watch.
And then, after I hit the lottery, I'll get a nice one made up in a Ross tartan - to honor my grandmother. She was Scottish, Grandpa was Irish (perhaps a County Cavan tartan, then?). She grew up in Nova Scotia, he in Ontario. They settled and raised their kids in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and here I am today.
Will keep you all posted, and, of course, will have pics up in due time. Cheers!
