    Brown Belts

    For a low budget solution, I got a 2 1/4 inch heavy leather belt from Home Depot. It's intended to hold tool pouches, etc.
    I took off the buckle and put on a kilt belt buckle. Actually, I made the buckle--it's a St. Andrews cross in aluminium on an aluminium plate, and the two are attached to a steel plate to which is silved soldered the belt loop and tang.
    Looks just fine.
