Ah, Kauai.... Hanalei is my dream home and center of my sailing goals. I've been there twice, sailed there once and love it. I will be back again in 2008 for the last time, or so goes the plan. I've also spent a few nights not far from Port Arthur, and did the drive and hike up the Canyon.

I love Kauai.

But I digress.... for Kauai, I agree. Get a USA Kilts Casual or Semi-Traditional. The casual is a bit lighter weight, but I wear it a lot when it gets really hot.

Another option is to look up Caledonian Kilts on ebay and order from him. I have two Caledonian kilts and they're very well made, especially for the price. Davey is great with the communication.

Stillwaters, while they're great kilts, especially for the price are going to be too hot in Kauai, most of the time..
