I am not a big fan of nylon Pistol Belt. How about a Sam Brown Belt?

    Dioublewood,

I'm not a fan of the looks of ballistic nylon, though I certainly note that it has many advantages to leather. That said, I think all the items you have selected go well together save one-the kilt pin. All the other items are a modern variation on kilted accessories. I suggest a more modern looking or stylized design for a kilt pin (preferably in black). You are getting creative and making your own look. Go for it all the way.

    Just my two cents

    Cheers

The Sam Brown Belts are nice too. Was looking at the nylon belt to match the sporran.

I could get the clan crest badge for the front of the sporran, and go with a different kind of pin, Wanted to throw in a touch of tradition somewhere. Thanks for the ideas.

Have to agree with Panache about the kilt pin. Here's a page with one that might be to your liking:

Add a black UM92 and you'll be good to go. We're looking forward to the photos.

Shoot us a picture. It all sounds like a good outfit to me. I always wear nylon for carrying. doesn't hold the moisture in. O'Neille

Welcome from Carlisle England--I think getting you outfits together takes trial & error. Post pictures & you will get different opinions

OK, scratch the shoes. They look much better online than they do in the store.

I agree with Panache, too. Everythin gyou've got thereis kind of "edgy...non-traditional. So why not get a non-traditional kilt pin, eh? Ont he other hand, if you just really want that clan kilt pin, then go for it.

Standard kilt belt buckles can be easily fitted to the nylon pistol belts, they are both 2.25".

I have a black-finish celtic buckle on my nylon pistol belt.

Good lord, that SD3 mess dress with the red jacket ...Give Santa his jacket back!
