After I bought my Suvival from them I joined the group. I honestly spent only a few minutes in the forum becuase of the obviously immature base of the forum. It was a lot of "teenage angst" and "I love pissing of the establishment" mentality. Never went back and don't miss a thing about it.

I think it would be best to try it yourself if you want to find out. after all it's a personal thing in the end anyway

The yahoo group is more than just a kilt group. While it does occasionally have good kilt related content (discussion of a friends request that someone not wear a kilt while with them at the moment), it does devolve regularly into politics, religion, gun control etc. The common denominator is that everyone there is a UK wearer (for the most part). I don't post there much anymore (but still read daily), but I have been known to get into all the above and more.
So depends on what you are looking for as a group, peaceful kilt only topics (here) or the occasional knock down, drag out brawl with fellow kilt wearers.

I'm like some of the others here. I joined up, hung around for a month or so, then decided I didn't like the general feel of the forum. I'd rather be here, on Xmarks.

I started on that board, until Steve Ashton turned me on to this one. I still check in from time to time. Izzy's cool. Have bought some previously loved kilts from members there.
Don't hurt not to lurk a while. There is a lot of weirdness there, but there's also some good stuff, and a number of us here that also post there, including Ham.
