Glengarry Bhoys in Fergus
The Glengarry Bhoys headlined the Saturday night at the Fergus highland games this year. This was there first apperance at the games with this lineup and they blew the roof off the tent. They captured the rather large and rowdy audience from the first song right through 2 sets from 10:45 to just after 1:00 A.M. The crowd went nuts when Ewan Brown (pipes, various wind instruments, electronic pipes and vocals) made his usual foray into the crowd during a bagpipe heavy song and ended up on a table in the crowd. The speed that he plays and the ability to move around like he does is mindboggeling. Miranda of course seemed to have her own cheering section of men assemble themselves right in front of her. She played and sang amaizing along with the rest of the band.
Another great night with the Bhoys,
Kilted Stuart

Phatpiper is awesome, and Miranda? Well, there ought to be a law about having so much talent and being such a hottie all at the same time!
Saw the Bhoys in Cuyahoga FAlls, OH. and loved every minute of it, can't wait to catch them again some time!

Agreed!
They play a great set. Saw the same performance as MWolf. Miranda deserves her one section (talk about a red haired hottie!). If anyone gets the chance to see them.. DO IT!

Like I said before, all music is for the individual to decide on.
I posted to say I saw an awsome celtic band performance on a nice night in August. Myself and 2000 others went away happy and wishing for more.
I invite people to give them a try. They are high energy blend of Scottish,Irish and East Coast fiddle and bagpipes in a celtic folkmusic style. They(the Glengarry Bhoys) are from Glengarry, Ontario, Canada. A highly Scottish populated community. The lead singer (Graham) was born in Scotland. Ewan is of Scottish decent etc. etc.
I know there not for everyone, but they seem to do well with enough of us.
I'll see them again and again,
Kilted Stuart
Ps, I don't think they played Arlington Texas this year. The old band played there a year ago but Enter the Haggis was there this year. I may be wrong.
