    I am already the 'test pilot' for another sporran-maker so I am afraid I cannot offer my services .......... unless he is prepared to release me temporarily from my contract, that is!!!

    Those clasps are very neat and effective on sporrans. I have seen them before, but they are not that common.

    Very Nice. I've been thinking of recycling an old soft leather briefcase following the pattern in Thompson's book. Gotta make one to match the straps and belt I'm getting from cavscout.

    I traced my semi-formal sporran for the outline..
    then eyeballed the rest. Seems to have worked out pretty well so far.

    Yes. There is an appendix on sporran-making. Freelander sporrans are pattend after it.
