Well, as promised, here is a photo of me in a kilt for the first time. This is a borrowed kilt (I had ordered my first kilt the day before this photo shoot). I'm warning you, it's very silly, but that's the point I guess. Each year our Celtic society puts this calendar out as a fundraiser for our scholarship fund (to help people interested in pursuing instruction on Celtic languages, musical instruments, dancing, etc.) A member of the society volunteers for each month, which they match with a particular theme. I'm sort of a Halloween freak, so the president got me to do this by promising me October. This is also the kilt I wore the next day to a pipe jam - marking my first time in public wearing the kilt. Once I get my first kilt I'll put up some more serious pictures.
