This guy is saying that the Scots need to abandon the "hackneyed" symbols of bagpipes, kilts, shortbread, and haggis, and yet I found this little gem:

"Scotland may never have an opportunity quite like this again. We must clutch the thistle."
I also notice he doesn't seem to have anything against scotch whisky.
