    It's true to say that we did indeed start with the Thompson book. Our basic shape came from there. However we have improved on and,refined it . Number 1 (First sporran we made)is the nearest we have to a direct copy from the book.With a little omission of the gusset. (Back and front are sewn directly together)

    Here a picture...It seems so long ago. The sporran still gets used a lot to. Sporran making is fun. Thats why I do it.So have a try

    Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that you haven't made your own innovations. I just remember you posting to this effect previously.
