Happy until about a month ago

I was happy until about a month ago. Thats when I made up my mind to wear a kilt on a more regular basis. I baught my first kilt (the 8 yard monster from the pics i posted) not quite a year ago. I was happy with just getting to wear it on a special occasion now and then. But about a month ago I decided that I wanted to be able to sport a kilt when ever and where ever I wanted. After all, Im of Scottish decent so I figgured if anyone could I would. So I turned to Google and ebay and started to hunt for a site where I could find a more affordable kilt. Lets face it, if you had to drop 6 or 7 hundred bucks everytime you wanted to buy a new kilt most of us wouldnt have many.

But anyways... In my search for a new kilt I happened apon X Marks the Scot here. And to my amazement I wasnt alone!!! Im not just some crazy dude that decided he wanted to wear a kilt all the time. Well, yeah, maybe I am, but at least Im not alone! I surfed this site, read a bunch of the threads that started before I found you. Everyone excited about kilts, everyone wearing kilts, everyone having a good time.

Now though, I have a new sport kilt, in the Loch Ness tartan. I love it! its comfortible and great to wear. I waiting on a new USA Kilt in the Scottish National Tartan. I cant wait to get it. Rocky told me 6 weeks, its been about 1 but feels like a year. But the reason why Im no longer happy is because I have realised its not going to be enought. 3 kilts isnt enough. And its killing me! I look through the links, I want a Union kilt, I want a Utilikilt, I a Stillwater, hell I want them all! 4 kilts wont be enough, I already know that. I plan on getting an Irish National to wear on St. Patties Days. 5, 6, or 7? How many does it take? How many kilts is enough to be satisfied? Judging by Hammish, I dont know if no matter how many you have itll be enough. If you got 66 and still want more.... oh man.... I want one in every tartan that catches my eye. Help me guys! What have I gotten myself into? Will I ever have enough?

It all over man, just surrender to it. The more you resist the more painful it will be for you and us watching you suffer needlessly. You'll never recover, everything's now indelibly and eternally changed. But think of it this way, you've lost your trousers but gained a family.

You never have enough. But as long as you're still paying the rent/mortgage and other necessities, don't worry about it.
