I have worn my Cilt all day and everyday the past five days (that is a first for me) and have nothing to report about it at all. Just gone about my business the same as eveyone else. Had to put on some old jeans just now .. got to paint the room walls. Any how, before I did .. here is a pic of me complete with my Good Beer Guide all in readiness for this weekend, when I shall take the road to the first old pub on my travels to the old and historic pubs of South Wales. I will visit The Blue Anchor. A very old smugglers pub near the coast. Here is what they print about it ...
The inn has a history that spans some 700 years, it first opened it's doors for trade in 1380 - over a 110 years before Christopher Columbus first crossed the Atlantic Ocean and discovered America!
It has traded almost continuously since then and is now world famous as a pub, renowned for it's range of real ales, and for it's high quality food.
