Jake's? You mean Jake's Roadhouse, on Chauncey?

As for Harry's, if you want a table on a Saturday evening, you have to be up with the roosters and get there before the regulars. They're still promoting the 'Go Ugly Early' philosophy.

That's sort of funny, given that Notre Dame is a french name, and if I recall originally a French university. I have run across all sorts of people who believed the name was Irish-gaelic. Ha ha ha, and of course, wouldn't believe me when I said otherwise, and told them to go ask a French instructor.

I know it's a little off topic, but I had to put that in... for some humour.
BonnieT100: You ride a triumph...don't you? The name would be too coincidental if you didn't! Of couse, I must say... good choice!

Actually, it's very appropriate in the fact that many Irish and Scots Highlanders fled to France to serve in her armies -- "The Wild Geese".

    Cheers,

Speaking of Purdue and Notre Dame, I just found out that I'll be at ND Stadium to see the Irish thwack Purdue this season. I plan on wearing my Irish American kilt with my in-the-mail Freelander Sporran! (Thanks David!)

Yup - I have an '04 Bonneville and an '05 Thruxton. Plan on adding a '64 Bonnie and a '73 Norton Commando when I get the cash.
