You are of course forgetting: 4. I am (at least part) Scottish and I wear my kilt to honor my heritage and I really don't care what other people think because they are comfortable and cool.
I am only half Scottish, but, my heritage is important to me, it's how I was raised. However, why be uncomfortable. I know that people say, "Well you are part scottish so you have the right to wear such things.", but, it really doesn't matter. The world is a mostly free place so it souldn't matter if you are Scottish or Irish or Welsh etc. to wear what you want.....
I'm Not here to say that everyone should wear a kilt... Honestly it's not for everyone. I only own 1 kilt at the moment, and, I will be getting more. I would like to just have pants for work and have enough kilts for regular wear, but that is my own personal choice. My friend Tim wears Kilts full time, and that seems to work for him.
I think it's pretty cool when I see other people in Kilts
