Yeah, they're a little long for me, but so what if they are? Since they are in a kind of class of their own, I can make my own style.

    I don't have any UKs as of yet, but I do keep thinking about getting one. If you don't mind me asking, what is your height. I was 5'10" but with aging and a bit of middle aged spread, I have shrunk nearly an inch.

    There is a thread on shortening a kilt. Not sure where it is but I can look it up at home tonight. I printed it out since I have SWK Heavyweight that I am working on shortening. Got it about halfway done.

    being that each pleat edge is sewn on the UK, it will be a long and painful process to rip the existing stitches, shorten the length, re-pin each pleat, line up and check lengths on each pleat, re-stitch and re-press each pleat, then re-stitch the entire hem.

    I don't envy you in your task.
