I was in a Building 19 store (local chain of discount stores) today, and got a 2-pack of Baseball/Football Socks in hunter green for $4.79. Perfect length. Not the fanciest kilt hose around, but for less than a buck and a quarter per sock, who's complaining? Not my wallet, that's for sure.

Got a couple pair of acrylic sports socks myself...scroonched they look okay but they're only tall enough to turn over once so the cuff they form isn't very impressive...still..you're right, the price was right! Best AA
I wear soccer socks with my kilt, lol.
They sound a bit like the hose sold on Sportklit. They are good for knocking about in. But a bit thin for formal wear.
