Me mum and I went there today. While I did not wear a kilt (all my kiltish handiwork is still kind of slap-dash) I still enjyed myself. I bought a drawstring-closured belt bag and a simple brooch. I spent too much time at the "gift shops" and too little time looking around the living history section. I enjoyed the music though, which included a rather interesting "digeridoo-ette".
Mum had fun, but at 83 (as of the sixth) she tires easily so she was ready to leave befre I was. It was still a good day, and I learned I may be descended from the MacDonald clan. I wonder if that entitles me to a discount at the golden arches?

It was great, the massed bands were a blast! Amazing Grace/evening hymn brought tears to my eyes. It was good to see the flame haired goddess and Panache and the weans. Then Alan, monkey, tim, damaris, bill, all the other xmarkers My son were there both days. My chief promoted me to Cheiftain while I was manning the tent this weekend. Does that mean I get one feather or two? Any roads it was fun and long and now I am very tired.
Oh, one other thing if any one missed it Tim and Damaris is gettin Hitched
