Actually, how much of what fashion houses design ever gets to the street? Very little. Most of it is totally absurd and unwearable if you intend to move or sit. Those fashion models you see on the catwalk often use stickum to hold the stuff in place so things don't pop out. I still think men AND women can look very good without being uncomfortable or looking idiotic.

I agree! Ironically, in this day of 'the more skin showing the better', guys love my kimonos; a garment that effectively covers me from neck to ankle.

Many fashion houses had tried to popularise the idea of men wearing kilt and they have all failed. However, two small clothing companies at the West Coast of United States were able to get men out of their pants/jeans/trousers and into the world of kilt. If it wasn't because of Sport Kilt and Utilikilt, I wouldn't be on Xmarks right now.

Thank you, Raphael, for saying it.

Kimono has real style, grace and artistry. I too love the look of the kimono much more than bare bellies and crotch length skirts. Grace vs trashy.

Kimonos have a sensuous flow to them. Skin covered in the right way can often be more aluring than the skin itself!

I know this will get me in trouble but trashy has its advantages.

Had an opportunity today to stop a strikingly good looking young lady in a (very short) Utilikilt and ask her thoughts about this ongoing discourse. Her response, if I recall correctly, was: "They can shove it."
If it's too small to see in the photo, her shirt reads "32nd U.S. Invitational Heavy Events Championship." This is one of the women Riverkilt warned you about.
