I was gonna say....some of us could be reasonably categorized as out of the range within which women tend to flirt with so it's pretty unlikely that this is going to happen. The exception is when some a-hole decides that he or she is going to be funny in which case some verbal judo is certainly in order...

You have every right to press charges (and indeed you should).
The same is true here. I just wouldn't go to extremes immediately. Certainly, if there is a repeated attempt, or a particularly violent attempt, I'll call the police. Other than that, though, I can handle it myself.

Being handicapped and walking with a cane, I have found a new and wonderful way of dealing with kilt-lifters and it was discovered quite by accident.

The last attempted lift (from behind) actually knocked me off balance because I was hobbling along at the time. The unexpected tug from behind while I was leaning against my cane and my bad leg ended up making me fall down. Thankfully when I fell the kilt landed in such a way as to preserve my privacy, but everyone nearby expressed extreme shock and the offending female was extremely embarassed because it now looked to all nearby that she had just attempted to assault a handicapped person! Then when she tried to explain that she was only attempting to see what was under my kilt it made the person who was helping me stand up comment that she was also a pervert. She definitely learned a lesson that day!

Now I just need to make sure that I fall down with my kilt in place!

...while you swing that cane around to "accidentally" make firm contact with the offender's shins.

Did she have the courtesy to apologize to you? Did she help you get back up? I see that as eceptionally rude to someone who ha mobility issues. It's rude in the first place, but that just takes the cake.

And what lake is this? I may have to vist some time . I guessing its in Hot Springs, I have always gotten pretty warm grettings there while in a kilt. Nothing warmer to a single guy than bare chested ladies!!

    First Time For Me

I showed up at the Auld Dubliner in Tucson tonight and was waiting for KFP and BeerTigger to show. I didn't have much of a wait, but as soon as I walked in, I looked around to see if any kilties had beaten me to the pub. Suddenly, a table of about 10 drunken college girls were yelling at me to come over. Mind you I was stone cold sober at the time. As I walk up to the table this rather obnoxious one asked me what I wore under my kilt. I told her that my Mother said a lady would never ask, and my Mother, god bless her, is seldom wrong. This girl sticks her camera under my kilt, snaps a picture, and immediately exclaims that I had n------ on under my kilt and shows the girl to her left. This all happened within a couple seconds. Thanks to everyones wisdom and advice, I immediately told her that that was not a welcome advance and that she would have to erase that picture or I would call the police and prosecute her for sexual assault. She deleted the picture and went to extremes to assure me that it was gone. It was strange how it changed the mood of the table you could tell that some of them were aghast at what the one girl did but a few had the group mentality that what she did was funny of somehow acceptable or that it was my fault for being regimental somehow. I may have scarred her enough to not do it again, but I also somehow believe that remorse is a word she does not understand. So that was the end of my first unexpected inappropriate kilt encounter. I am sure if you had done this to her there would have been NO chance to erase the picture as the Police would have confiscated it for evidence!!!!! Just look at that guy in the Staes that was caught recently. Did he get the chance to erase his camera pictures. No and quite right too, he got the jail.

    Jeez,

Its basic chemistry that a little bit of booze makes us stupid and a lot of booze makes us really stupid.

Sounds like you handled it well once you chose to approach them.

Drunks do like to blame the victim.

Imagine where you'd be this morning if you'd flashed them.

    The groper

I really dislike those folks who take advantage of a crowed situation to grab ya in an inappropriate matter. Well, I don't mind women so much...but Men?
