A hearty welcome from Ohio! Many here have to deal with similar situations. I would ask her what specifically bothers her. Show support for her concerns but explain why you enjoy kilt wearing ( comfort, wanting to look nice for her, testicular health etc.) Communication is the key. Some people can be worn down such as other family members, when they see that the kilts aren't going away, and that it is a non-issue with most other people. Just my two cents.
