    You are famous Hamish!

Richard of Union Kilts was telling me about you only last saturday at Cardiff Mardi Gras!

I'm a few behind you having just acquired kilt #3 in brown leather

Wonder if there is a Guinness record for most kilts owned by an individual?

If only I could win the lottery or something...

But it's great to hear of your plans for them which we hope will not be for a long time yet and that you will have many happy years of inspiring others to take up the kilt.

    Great outfit

Thanks for showing us the new kilt, Ham. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is there another Cornish tartan - largely black with (I think) some yellow in it?

Eeeeek! Now I am REALLY worried! If Richard has been talking about me, I'd better keep a low profile - maybe even leave the country!!

Guinness Book Of Records? I doubt I'd stand a chance! There is a chap in Scotland, I hear, who has over 200 kilts. Appart from the huge difference in number, he collects kilts from any source and regardless of whether they can be worn or not! My kilts were all acquired by me for ME to wear - most were tailored to fit and the remainder (with one exception) were as sold off the rack in my size. The exception being a Charity Shop purchase where the fit was perfect. Needless to say, a few of the earlier ones are now too small for me (curious how they can shrink just hanging in the wardrobe!), and these have been archived, but they are an important part of my Kilt Kollection.

Yes, I intend to be around for a few years yet.

And I thought that him talking about you would be good publicity Ham especially as some of his products are in your Kollection

OK so the Guinness category would have to be for numbers of kilts personally bought to wear

My oldest kilt won't fit me either even if the moths hadn't managed to get at it so I know all about "kilt shrinkage" But like you I could never get rid of it.

Just placed an order for kilt #4 in the Black Watch tartan - this could become addictive!

What a Striking looking kilt and sporran combo!! There is no mistake that the sporran is definately Cornish origin. However, I thought Ham was going for a punk rock look with his new Cornish sporran.

I can tell you like it. Dammit, I would too. What a stunning colourway. And I'm only an hour from Cornwall - now, I wonder.................
