If anyone recognizes any of these tartans please let me know so I will have correct information when someone asks.

Just bought 8 1/2 yards double width. Will probably be a great kilt pretty close to actual colors.
Any information would be appreciated.
I couldn't find matches either, but I found some that are similar to the one above. To a trained/studied eye they're not that similar, but to many they may appear similar.
Caithness District

Ballater Trade

Stewart Fawn Trade

Stewart Silk Artifact (with some slightly different color threads, this one seems similar)

I really think sometimes weaving firms and fabric companies experiment with existing paterns altering the colors. The tartan you show above could be a weathered version of a tartan that does not usually come in weathered. Just a thought. The tartan in question has a play on the Stewart tartan scheme/theme to me.

The first one is one of many fashion variations of the popular Royal Stewart design. I would assume that all of these are simply fashion tartans.
The thirs is almost the Duncan tartan. If you removed the thin blue line from the pattern, this is more or less Duncan.
