There's nothing like Cracker Barrel over here, and if there were the food wouldn't be as good. In fact the idea of 'diners' has never taken off in the U.K. The nearest we ever got to it was a place called 'Little Chef' and anyone who knows these places will understand why I love 'Cracker Barrel' ('Down home cookin' at it's best).
By the way, on reflection I probably encountered this chain of retaurants when in Arizona, but I'm sure we've come across them all over America on our travels.
