I'm working on a new camo for this winters hiking in the mountains with the Petite Celtic Sprite (PCS). I'd definitely wear a kilt to any club that I were a member of and even some others. I'm a Legionnaire but everyone was at the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) last Friday after our Auld Dubliner kilt night. This was the second time I'd been to this VFW and the first time kilted. It was after midnight and needless to say everyone was feeling no pain. At least 3 people there said they were diggin' the kilt and wished they had one. The ladies were very polite/affectionate and gave me a huge ego boost for the night. So once you feel confident in your kilting, you'll do great in any venue. O'Neille
Added club note: I've also noted that I receive a lot more free drinks when kilted. And even when I'm not drinking alcohol such as when I was at the VFW I drank tonic all night w/o charge. So the power of the kilt even exerts itself on bartenders and patrons who just want to buy the guy in the kilt a drink.
