So, off to the parade we went. We had the 400 Squadron of the Canadian Air Force:

The US Army 3rd Infantry Regiment Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps,

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police Pipes and Drums,

The US Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Band from 29 Palms, California.

There was an air show when a de Havilland Vampire flew over, several times:

Several local pipe bands were in the parade:

There were several military re-enactment groups:


Youth bands


along with some from out of state

Yes, as you have noticed, there was pleanty of rain, then sun, then rain. Not to mention the WIND Made for perfect Scottish weather
