GI JOE fans
Ok, there was a lot of mention of G.I Joes in the age thread. Now we are talking the the 5" figures not the 12" originals. So to not further hijack that thread I just wanted to post a few things here as I was a big fan as well
http://www.yojoe.com/ for every figure and toy made
and check these things out http://www.reliks.com/search.ihtml?s...=Gi+Joe&step=2

I was a big fan of Joe in the late 80's (and I still am for that matter ). I had an extensive collection of the toys, but I had to sell them about ten years ago. They were just collecting dust in the basement and were getting damaged, so I sold them to another collector. Hopefully they got a good home. I still have the GI Joe comic books I collected, and I am attempting to complete that collection.

Dave, I just sold all my GI Joe comics, but still have a lot of the figures. I was just looking through yojoe.com and think I had about 90% of the stuff sold before 1990. I guess in about 1989 I put down the toys and soon found girls
Maybe I will try and sell the 20 or so figures I still have.

Just reminiscing, I remember my GI Joe space capsule, and my diver most vividly. I think my brother still has them. That was in the early 70s. O'Neille

The UK version was "Action Man".

Actually, they had a complete "Action Force". It was basically the same characters with their bios rewritten to reflect UK citizenship. A few new characters were introduced by repainting and renaming existing figures.
