I've still got a 12" GI Joe in the space capsule with the silver suit on and the helmet and everything! It's from the mid 60s, I think.

I remember buying my first GI Joe in 1964 or '65 If I remember right it was $1.98 and it took a while to save that kind of money back then.

But you've got to remember, they're not dolls, they're ACTION FIGURES!

Of course, it helped that I didn't start collecting them until I was in my mid-20's. Guess I'm just a big kid at heart.
