Heath, yes life is pretty good right now, and will get better once we get all the boxes unpacked!
Ham, I asked him about the tartan when I saw this in his shop. He said it is just a fashion tartan he found. It is made from a decent weight wool (13oz maybe?), and hangs nicely. He does nice work, and the stitching is nearly invisible. This was an off the peg kilt he had available. It has knife pleats, but he also does box pleats. Here is his website and a shot of the pleats from an earlier outing. If you are interested in one, you are better served to call him. He does not do email very regularly, but is very personable to talk to.
And C152T, I think the count is 20 now, once I receive the one Alan is making for me. While it is not a Kollection yet, I think it qualifies as a kollection!

Rob, very nice. It is an "understated" tartan and I think would look great out walking the hills or trailing through the woods. Do you have hills or woods in Florida? (Nice looking pool btw).
Not many hills around here, but plenty of woods, forest preserves, and beaches to stroll. You have to get about 30-40 miles north of use to get into any real hills.
