    Khaki is underrated as a shirt color with kilts. It goes with a lot of tartans. Nice hose, too. I expect to get mine from the STM tomorrow.

    Yes, the khaki is a great colour with a lot of tartans, particularly green tartans (IMO.) I just received those hose this past week from USAK as well.

    I too agree that khaki/tan is an underrated colour. Brown is a neutral (I think) and khaki is a milder shade, it can go with almost anything. Earth tones will almost always work well together. But I like to think of safe neutral tones as white, black, grey, and brown, and of course, variances in shade on some of these. It's just hard to go wrong.

    Looks great! It's been rather warm for kilt hose here, but I have a pair of oatmeal hose and an oatmeal dress shirt. I just haven't had the opportunity to wear it all together--it's just now beginning to cool off here in SoCal. And I'll be moved to Florida in a few days . . .

    I look forward to really getting that Hamish class as I venture further into kilting
