    Who belongs to this Tartan?

    Another newbe question. Who belongs to this Taran or is it just a pattern with no significance?

    It would help if we could see more of the sett. One square often isn't enough.

    There is a thread somewhere with link to a tartan identification database where you input the color sequence and out pop a number of possibilities.

    That's the F&K Light Grey, isn't it?

    Was thinking of getting some of that to practice my (non-existent) sewing skills on. If O'Neille can do it....

    You have a good eye, I am ordering 6 metres and will give making a kilt a try using Alan H's instructions! The fabric is 59" wide.

    You could always just get 6 metres, and do a belted plaide with it too!
    If it is single wide, you could do a feilidh beag!
