Wow, It sounds like an event. Wish I were free, and could fly cross country to see kilts, drink and listen to music. O'Neille

Hey guys, I hear the weather is going to be great this weekend for the Classic. I managed to get a hotel room about a mile away, everything is booked. Now can I walk that far home after having several pints????

I've been tracking a big storm headed our way... Saturday and Sunday are supposed to be scattered showers. I've already "put my order in" for sun, so we'll see.

We should have a good idea what it will be like by Thursday!

So far they are forcasting nice weather for Friday, Partly cloudy for Saturday, and Scattered Showers (40% chance) Sunday!

Not too bad so far! But we'll give them a day or two to change their minds.

Wow, sounds like it'll be a bang up venue, for all involved, spectator, and participant, and vendors alike!

I heard mention of German National....

Andrew - Rocky had some German National at his shop that was a special order for a client, but my wife loved it!

Rocky can make a kilt in any tartan you can get! You just either have to supply it, or buy the minimum for the run from the mill.

Meanwile Rocky is busy stuffing his vehicle to come for a visit! (Celtic Classic)

Well guys I am not sure how the vendors did at the Celtic Classic but I had a kick *** time. It was the first time I had ever been to the Classic and it won't be the last. The crowds were huge the piping incredible and the Highland games entertaining. It really takes a weekend to see it all. So many great music acts to see. Enter the Haggis kicked my butt. These guys are for real. They are excellent musicians and can really get the crowd hopping. They also have a large following. The classic is awesome I would recommend anyone to travel to see it. It is worth it. I hope to post some pictures soon that I took.

My first time at the Classic as well and I heartily agree with everything you just said. The crouds were huge even with the threatening weather Sat. but it was a great day. I got turned on to a band I hadn't heard of before, King Chiaullee, that were incredible. Added bonus -- Bethlehem Brew Works was only a short walk from the grounds.

    Big KC fan here.

They've been coming to Bethlehem for three years now. In 2004 they did one performance kilted in the Manx national tartan. Not since then, for some reason.
