my new USAK Ferguson
The wait is finally over. My USAK semi-traditional kilt in the Ferguson Modern arrived the other day. I took Rocky up on his PV tartan offer.
Here's the pics:
Right out of the box:
Backside (right out of the box...needs ironing)
I quickly changed into something for this pictures 
The sporran is new as well. It's a celtic knot - Buzz Kidder.
Note, I forgot to add my Kilt pin...it's a ferguson clan crest on a sword 
Nice pletts and matching flashes
My youngest (Quinlan) loves running under the kilts

Note the fringe, I was pleasantly surprised by edge. I'm also surprised at how light weight this kilt. I wore it today golfing. It was great despite the weather. I'll definitely get more USA Kilts when I can afford them.

Looks good. I had a house full of "Fergusons" here tonight.  (My sister, brother in law, and brand new twin nieces!)

Hey Efer,
No need to iron. Hang the semi-trad up and blast it with a Black and Decker Gizmo (that's what they call them) Great little steamer with a duck bill type iron if you need it for the pleats. They're like $25 USD.
My USA Kilts steam right out with the Gizmo. A LOT less hassle than wrangling a kilt on an ironing board. Great for new kilts, and great at the end of the day so the kilt gets hung up fresh an well pleated.

That's a beautiful kilt and the Ferguson (and MacLaren...white>>>yellow) tartan looks stunning when pleated to the stripe.
I don't use the beltloops myself, but I like the way they're positioned...close to eachother...looks really nice.

A friend recommended of of those steamers so looks like there could be something in it!
