I loved your pictures of the gardens. It's beautiful landscape and was very well photographed.

Great pictures!! I would love to see that castle one of these days.

BTW, how was the food? What kind of food do they serve there?

    Hamish,
As usual, wonderful pictures in both threads. Again, you've got me thinking "One of these days, I have to get over there."

To be fair, even though my co-workers in Immigration can be a bit obtuse, they should recognize you with a beard. So no confusion with Isama.
    Hamish MacLaden, maybe.

    Hamish, kind Sir...

Please, do not fret o'er your whiskers. You'd look splendid with a face full o'fur as it is befitting yer countenance, Osama-be-damned. It's a shame you'll be stateside while I'm in Ireland (October 8-15); I'd have relished striking that familiar (and supposedly patented) pose with you and yer ilk (just teasin' ya) in the south of England. Regardless, I'll be missin' ya but here's me hoping you have a grand ol' time in the USA.

    Don't save, please

What a wonderful beard. I'm joining the choirs proclaiming your beard to be a keeper.

Ham, you always look so "at home" in the kilt. I think you have mentioned in other threads that it comes with long use and becoming very "natural." I am not a full time kiltie (probably four or five days a week) but I have noticed how in time there is no self-consciousness and it probably shows in bearing. I have wondered from time to time how the chap who only wears the kilt once or once a year becomes truly "at home."
