we had a wee tour o' the Globe an Burns apartment befair the event...
Jim an Claire helped themsels tae pints...
an Jane (she runs the Globe) quickly put them tae work behin the bar...
the Tam o' shanter contest wuz very guid an we enjoyed it very much... we also had several whiskies... Talisker... Oban... Dalwhinnie... Glenkinchie... an pints o' Theakston XB... then although it wuz late... we were aff tae the Robert The Bruce pub... wi' a wee stop aff at the Burns statue...
we also went tae the Hole I' The Wa' Inn but ai have tae still get they piccies... sae... maire tae come... an (oops - oot o' order) we had supper a' Cavens Arms afore the Globe.... wi' pints o' real ale...
